MONEY

An old English saying and also the title of a song is:

“Money is the root of all evil”

Is this what you think since many do? Have you ever asked what is the root of money?

Money is merely a tool of exchange, which can't exist unless there are goods and services produced and people able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that those who wish to deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value.

Money demands that you sell, not your weakness to men's stupidity, but your talent to their reason.

Money is not the tool of the beggars, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Each of us, in our own way, produces, either with our hands or our heads (or both) and thus we have value.

Can this be considered evil?

Until next time (and financially in good shape),

P.S.

  1. As an additional thought, there is a piece of rhyme in English that goes: "Money is a curse... But lack of it is worse". Very true, I think! P.S.
