MOST ADVICE IS BAD ADVICE


As a general rule, people mean well, especially friends and family. But if we look at things in a more rational manner, it is common for this good advice to turn out quite the opposite.


So I make two challenges to you: 


1. Ignore their advice whilst thanking them for it, even if IS actually good advice and intended to be well-meant and suggest you stay with the status quo:


2. Try to identify whether the good advice really is "good advice", so that you don't insulate yourself inside a bubble of self-delusion. In general this advice pushes you to go further or even make you do things which you may find uncomfortable.


And always remember that  if you are asked for your advice:
