And now for something completely different.... I love words – I may be numerically blind and technologically with the dinosaurs, but words – they're meat and drink to me. So I was more than amused at the following page sent to me by a good friend:
Until next time (and writing like what it says I should....or something),
Peripatetic Scribe

Nice one, P.S. We shall some fun with this in school! Nice to have a different "flavour" too!
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - yes, I can see the miserable faces when you start to talk about "writing" - but I can see tears of laughter when they see this! Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThe UK Anonymous...what I enjoy is the variety in the articles. I never know what to expect and you have a gift of surprise, so never a dull moment. Like the title!
ReplyDeleteUK Anonymous, thank you. "Variety is the spice of life" I remember from decades ago. And it helps to change track sometimes as it stops people thinking I write "the same old stuff". And anyway in these times, it's good to laugh....
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I have already seen this page and commented it with my students. They were not happy as they are mainly managers who have to use exactly the opposite language in their reports, marketing, speeches and similar. Nevertheless, we had a good laugh and an interesting conversation about the current values in our society and of course about political speeches. Thank you, P.S.
