BOMBARDMENT

Not in the sense that I am going to embark upon a “global cleansing” and kill millions – I have no desire for that as I (hope) I am a peace-loving individual. I have to admit also, that time is not on my side…..

Following on from the “rocking chair” of the last post, this one also looks to the future.  My “bombardment” will take the form of an almost continuous flow of writing as my aim is to post about three blogs each week. 

Now, I understand that there is so much I wish to share and perhaps not a long time in which to share it. Over the past few months I have developed a large number of “things” I want to write about so there is no shortage of material. Some will be more interesting than others (which is quite normal), some will be short and sharp, some long and quite involved, some black and deep. Nevertheless, they are all things I would like people to think about as they require. 

Will they have any impact? I have no idea; what happens inside the head of any individual is the responsibility of that individual, not me. I have lost count of the numbers of countries where ordinary people read these words, but to each country and especially to each individual I would say

Take whatever you can or wish from these few poor words and comments; if they influence you in any positive way I am pleased. If you read them as a relaxation, I am happy; if you read them in order to retain the status quo and not change things, that’s your privilege. I have no huge expectations – they only bring sadness and failure. But if only a few from amongst the seven billion of us crammed on to this glorious planet can actually DO something, I am delighted.
