It's a beautiful state, living life. There is so much to see, do, hear, taste and enjoy with all our senses. As I write this, I am looking out across a field of white – snow. And it’s cold at minus 15oC, but even under such conditions I can say, as Louis Armstrong sang “what a wonderful world”.
OK, there are times when everything seems to be against us – at work, play or even relaxing – there are occasions when we feel “blue”, “down” or just miserable. Life cannot always be easy since if it was, we would never enjoy those moments of pure gold which can be found in many different ways.
There is a beautiful African quote which sums up everything I want to say:
“Life cannot be measured by the number of breaths we take, but
by the moments that take our breath away”
A wonderful comment, especially on a cold winter day…..
Until next time (and constantly amazed),

SO, P.S. you're in the cold! Hard luck. Down here we still have summer and very pleasant too. I'm off sailing with the family - but an excellent blog especially the African bit - very, very true!
ReplyDeleteHere in Ukraine it is minus 29C! But a nice blog. I like the Africa connection.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Anonymous in NZ - you really made me feel good (?). Enjoy the weather - and life!
ReplyDeleteHI, Anonymous in Ukraine and welcome to my blog. I have read you are having severe problems but I hope this really cold spell will end soon. For me winter is HELL!
ReplyDeleteSooo true!
ReplyDeleteHere's another nice quote:There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

Lucana thank you. My view is towards the second part of his quote!
