The powers that are in Brussels have a habit of NOT making decisions (I wonder whether they would know how, anyway). This habit, in English (as you may have read or heard) is referred to as “kicking the can down the road”, meaning by that delaying a decision and procrastinating one can put off the ‘evil’ act of decision-making.
So much kicking has been carried on in Brussels and Europe in the last 18 months, I wondered where this poor old can might now be residing. Well, after painstaking research, I can now reveal where it has finally come to rest. However, I guessed that you would not simply take my word for it, but would welcome photographic evidence – which I can now supply:
Actually, it's the European Space Agency design for a robot they wish to land on the moon – how they can justify spending billions on this when the continent is in financial melt-down, I do not understand; I think this is pure vanity – one of the worst of all sins!
Until next time (and staying firmly on Earth),

Tackling the financial melt-down would require too much effort and it is
ReplyDeletetherefore more comfortable to turn their attention to other things and
continue feeling "comfortably numb".
I hope someone in power will soon find the strength, stamina and courage to
face our everyday issues, as it might soon be too late. The clock is
ticking!

Lucana - yes, I agree the clock is ticking but with an unelected "cartel" in Brussels lacking accountability I foresee more pain before any positive momentum. P.S.
