CENTENARIAN

No, not me personally – I doubt I shall ever see triple figures; long before that I shall, I am sure, be doing what my dear old grandfather would say when someone died – “pushing up the daisies”. Perhaps those who live overly long outlive their usefulness!

In fact I am referring to this blog; this is the one hundredth piece I have written. As you may have seen over the previous months there is no one exact type of content; I started with the idea of engaging people to think outside their own “personal black box”  through a mix of criticisms, witticisms and occasional bits of “wisdom”-  those who I now refer to as the “shrinking, thinking class”.

I believe it has found favour, judging from the rapid rise in numbers reading it. Please be assured that as long as the brain and fingers can co-ordinate I shall continue in the same manner. Now for the next 100!

Finally, a warm thank you from me to the thousands of you from all corners of this glorious blue planet who have followed my often tortuous verbal wanderings; it means very much to me….

Until next time (and even more critical, perhaps),
