It sounds from the title as if I have been let out of prison, but regular readers will know this is not the case (I’ve not been in). It means that after my eye surgery I'm allowed out – out into the beautiful world of fresh air, sounds and sights – and it's GLORIOUS! After an enforced period of not being exposed to bright sunlight, I can honestly say that the best thing under the sun – is being under the sun!
I shall not bore you with details nor deliberate on the future; one thing I would say is that perhaps I could rename this blog to ‘Cyclops Speaks’; but on reflection he was a nasty, ugly piece of work so I think I will stick to the old name!
It has given me time to think and, hopefully, I have used the time wisely; a large number of thoughts and ideas came readily to mind so now I shall put them into words and share them with you.
As I wrote in an early blog, you will get a mix of criticisms, witticisms and an occasional bit of wisdom thrown at you….
